Each month, we take time to pause, look back and celebrate the brilliant things our students have achieved through a special feature on our website called: “The Month That Was.”
What is The Month That Was?
The Month That Was is our monthly round-up of student successes, both big and small. It’s a space where we shine a light on:

Academic achievements – outstanding classwork, impressive progress, competition results and exam successes.

Character and kindness – acts of respect, resilience, leadership and support for others.

Creative and sporting highlights – performances, exhibitions, matches, clubs and personal milestones.

Community contributions – fundraising, volunteering and projects that make a difference beyond the classroom.
Rather than focusing only on top marks or trophies, we celebrate effort, improvement and contribution – the things that show our values in action.
How do we choose what to feature?
Throughout the month, staff put forward moments that stand out. These might come from:

We also welcome suggestions from students and families who notice something special worth sharing.
